I have always been a fan of lead miniatures, but I have to admit that the number of lines that are offering hard plastic, at a price that's difficult to beat is starting to look very attractive, especially to my pocketbook.
Good luck with the Romans. One of my favorite armies.
Cheers chaps. You can never have too many auxilia in my opinion. I've got a line on some second hand auxilia and cavalry too to round things out, have to see how they look.
!! That looks like a lot of plastic and a lot of fun :-D

It does. I'm excited about the new project. I like Romans quite a lot and already have two armies in 15mm (Caesarian and Late Imperial).
ReplyDeleteBut I think I'll start withthe Auxilia first!
Instant army; just add glue (and paint)!

The Warlord starter army is a great deal! It's what got me started in 28mm ancients.
ReplyDeleteI liked the aux infantry figures the best - enjoy your building!
