So This Happened....

Doing a solo playtest of my SF game. I'm trying for some hard SF  here, definitely not Warhammer 40k. 
Then mid-game, what happens but two power armoured Marines end up in hand-to-hand after blasting ineffectively at each other.
"Where's our chainswords?"
Oh bother....

    Hell, stuff like this still happens today. Just not as common as it used to be. :)
