Lovely 28mm with excellent detail and animation. This batch included a command group, a 45mm Brixia mortar and some more riflemen.

The Brixia mortar was a bit fiddly to assemble.
You can get these figures from me at my store.
Great miniatures and you've done a great job painting them. Particularly nice camo!
ReplyDeleteVery nice work, the basing really makes them come alive.
ReplyDeleteYou're very kind. To be honest it's my usual witches brew of different grades of woodland scenics ground flock, some dried lichen and tea leaves.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking figures.Have some lined up on my painting table. Curious as to what colour scheme you used.

IIRC the trousers are Vallejo German field grey. The smocks are a mix of field grey and grey green with blobs of Vallejo German Camo Brown and Green Ocre (dunkelgelb). Pouches are black or green ochre.
DeleteGreat, thanks for the info. I'm also considering having Fucilieri, Bersagilieri and Alpini squad/sections.

No problem! If you look back to August 2010 you'll see a post about the rest of the Italian force I painted up for the same friend. It includes some Fusilieri.
