Oh Frabjous Day!

The beginning of the Cadet training year last night prevented me from posting the happy news that on Monday my Group Leader brought out a sheaf of papers for me to sign headed "Offer of Employment".

My three month contract extension expired at the end of August, but since I was on the schedule for the week after I figured that was a good sign, and I'd just keep showing up until told otherwise or my swipe card stopped working!

The fact that it took another week for HR to produce paperwork gave me hope that it would be more than another contract extension.

So, I am now actually on the pay scale, enrolled in the profit sharing plan and can sign up for the Pension plan too.

Woot.
